Shoreham is a small and very tranquil seaside township on the eastern edge of the Mornington Peninsula, by the western shore of Westernport Bay. The coast around Shoreham is really very beautiful and quite exclusive and some fine accommodation is available. The Shoreham council appears to have set ideas about preserving the area's beauty, its estates and fine coastal views. You can walk north from Shoreham to Point Leo (a noted surfing location with a fine beach) and south to Flinders. Attractions in the Shoreham area include the Ashcombe Maze complex and the many wineries of nearby Merricks.
