Main Ridge is an attractive rural area noted principally for its burgeoning wine industry. Located in the central lower Mornington Peninsula, Main Ridge boasts a half-dozen wineries with many more at nearby Red Hill South and Red Hill. Also operating in the Main Ridge area are two berry farms and the Pine Ridge Car and Folk Museum. There are also a number of good walking tracks in the Main Ridge area. One passes through Greens Bush which is the largest section of remnant bushland on the Peninsula. Vineyard accommodation is also available at Main Ridge.
