Description of Kallista: Kallista is a township in the Dandenong Ranges. It lies on the south-eastern edge of Dandenong Ranges National Park which has many sites of interest. Poet C.J. Dennis camped at Kallista in an old tram where he worked on 'The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke'. Distinguished artist Tom Roberts has also resided at Kallista.
