Description of Harrow: Harrow is a picturesque hamlet on the banks of the Glenelg River in Victoria's Wimmera district. Claiming to be the oldest inland town in Victoria, Harrow has a steep and scenic road which leads down to the main street where there are a number of historic buildings, including the old vernacular Harrow Gaol (1859), the Harrow Presbyterian Church (1879) and the Hermitage Hotel (c.1854) which has become the site of Harrow By Night, involving a trip through Harrow and its history with actors, special lighting and audio effects. Historic rural accommodation is available.
